Workshops
PG program on "Condition Monitoring, Control and Protection of Electrical Apparatus" was launched in June, 2009 and 13 students registered in this program. The 1st batch completed their M-Tech out in 2011. The 2nd and 3rd batch are continuing their M.Tech program. Presently 13 students of 2nd batch are working towards their research work leading to the award of M.Tech Degree.
Similarly, Ph.D program in the area of "Condition Monitoring" was launched and three students registered in this program in 2010.

Future Activities Planned :
(a) One day Workshop in the area of 'Transformer Insulation Oil Sampling' has been planned on Jan, 27th 2013 for engineering staff of TIFAC CORE Industry Partner HPSEBL, Shimla JEs/ SSA . 15 no. of JEs/SSA from HPSEBL, Shimla already confirmed for Participation. Other Utilities may also Correspond the Co-ordinator, TIFAC CORE NIT Hamirpur for further details
(b) One National Workshop on Emerging Trends in Condition Monitoring of Electrical Apparatus will be held on 26th June 2013, For Participation by Electrical Engineering Faculty/ Electrical Engineers from Industries/ Utilities, please contact the Co-ordinator, TIFAC CORE NIT Hamirpur for further details
