Future Plans

• To pursue and maintain the process of industrial tie-ups within and outside the country proactively with a view to share Information for advancement of the Power Transformer Diagnosis Technology through Transformer Committee utilizing industrial partner Engineers, NIT infrastructure and organizations already working in this area.
• To introduce more electives in the area of "Power Transformer Diagnostics" at UG and PG level.
• V-SAT Link connectivity for developing quality linkages/ties with reputed world-class organizations in the targeted area of power Transformer diagnosis.
• To liaison with fellow Co-ordinators of other TIFAC COREs in the country for promotion of interfaces / Tie-ups in utilizing conventional technologies and facilitate development process of sensors in chosen areas to help faster identification of faults and remedial action by engineers to prevent fires/ faults in transformers in national endeavor.
• Safety Networks protocols for sub-stations by using ICT infrastructure.
